When investing for my children, I’m not looking for the next hot stock or trying to hit aggressive price targets. I’m focused on something much less exciting — but far more important over decades:

Becoming a father changes how you look at the future. Before children, the future feels abstract — something you’ll adapt to when it arrives. After children, it becomes personal. Decisions made today suddenly echo decades ahead, and uncomfortable questions stop being theoretical.
